Entrepreneur of the Year
Phil Joseph, Free and Clear’s founder and president, was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the 2012 Conversation Awards. The awards highlighted the achievements and stories of those that are not only in the conversation, but those that are the conversation. The 15 winners are leaders in categories including entrepreneurship, politics, corporate America, entertainment, community service and the arts. The awards presentation and celebration took place at the W Chicago - City Center Hotel.
Monthly Networking Events
Free and Clear hosted real estate networking/educational events at its office each month throughout 2011. More than 25 professionals – including current and potential investors, property owners and managers, agents and brokers, loan officers and lawyers – come together to discuss current trends and industry topics.
Company Celebration
Free and Clear celebrated a successful 2010 - and toasted to a prosperous New Year - with its clients at a Chicago Bulls game. Guests mingled with other investors while enjoying an array of food and drinks in a penthouse suite at the United Center. The company was recognized on the Jumbotron during the halftime show - and the hometown Bulls even pulled off a 99-90 win over the Orlando Magic.
Downtown Chicago Office
Free and Clear opened an office at 203 N. Wabash Ave., to better serve its clients. Conveniently located in Chicago’s downtown business district, the building is historically known as the "Old Dearborn Bank." The elegantly detailed building - designed by C.W. & George L. Rapp Architects and completed in 1928 - was granted Chicago Landmark status in June 2003 and remodeled into state-of-the-art business suites in 2010.
